Scratch Day 2010 in Rhodes

An educational meeting entitled “Educational applications of Scratch”, has been scheduled at the University of Aegean, in Rhodes. The meeting is co-organized by the Learning Technology and Education Engineering Laboratory (University of the Aegean), the Laboratory of New Technologies in communication, Education and the Mass Media (University of Athens) and public School Advisors of Dodecanese.
Four workshop sessions have been scheduled, as follows:
* Applications of Scratch in teaching Science and Mathematics (morning session – N. Dapontes)
* Applications of Scratch in Special Needs Education (morning session – P. Tragazikis)
* Utilizing Scratch in Educational Digital Storytelling (Afternoon session – K. Serafeim)
* Applications of Scratch in teaching Informatics. (Ts. Karakiza, El. Mavroudi, D. Vamvakas, G. Fessakis)
