The 5 C’s of International Scratch Day 2012 @ Unity School

Posted 1 year ago by Dana Fritzinger

SAVE THE DATE for International Scratch Day! Saturday, May 19th – in the Unity School Media Center from 9:30 – 11:30 AM for Unity School students K-8.

What is International Scratch Day? It's all about the FIVE C's - creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and celebration! Be part of a special day when people all over the world come together to meet other Scratchers, learn about Scratch, and share projects and experiences.

Parents, drop off your children at 9:30, then come back to join us at 11:00, when your children will teach you about Scratch. The students will have time to rotate through various stations learning new skills to create their own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art projects. We are working on the possibility of connecting with another Scratch Day event through Skype ... stay tuned for more details!

Advance registration is required and registration is limited! Registration fee of $25, includes a Scratch T-shirt and refreshments. International Scratch Day registration forms are available in the front office or Media Center.
