We're celebrating Scratch turning 5 this year -- and what better way than to celebrate with other Scratchers!
Last year was our largest Scratch Day yet, with more than 126 events taking place around the world and thousands of people coming together to meet other Scratchers, share experiences, and learn more about creating (and learning) with Scratch.
Thank you for all of your support -- and please don't hesitate to tell us how we can better support you in your Scratch Day preparations!

I keep trying to create an event and I keep getting shunted back to the 2011 site with no ability to create a 2012 event. What am I doing wrong? Help! Thanks. :-)

Hi Alfia,
Sorry for the ridiculous huge delay in getting the site up and running again. :(
But I think we're fully back in action. Please let me know if you are have any other issues managing the 2012 event on the site.

Hello, we held our Scratch workshop on Friday at school and wonder is there somewhere on the site we can post what we did with some pics:)

There isn't somewhere on the Scratch Day site to post pictures. But you could...
* post them to Flickr and share the link here
* write a story for ScratchEd (http://scratched.media.mit.edu/), like http://scratched.media.mit.edu/stories/scratch-day-east
* post them via Twitter and use the #ScratchDay hashtag
