The actual day involved grade 3 students at Bounty Boulevard State School creating an animated story with a Pirate Theme. The energy and enthusiasm generated by the students was awesome and continues to this day! Since Scratch day we now have a wonderful group of Scratch-ers from grades 4-7 who meet each week to imagine • program • share.

I set a session up although I had doubt how many persons to invite so I decided to let it be small for the first time and watching the result . It was good As a small session and I understood it is possible to handle bigger sessions even in a small area with some computers .
Now , I'm thinking about setting a new session with more invitations in a bigger and maybe more public place .
bellow are some pictures of my personal computer area .

The day was an introduction to Scratch for approximately 50 middle school students. This introductory session lead to a five week unit with a culminating project of having students design their own game. Every student experienced personal success through out this project.
Looking forward to Scratch Day 2010.
