The Science Museum of Minnesota’s Learning Technologies Center (LTC) has a decade of experience creating learning activities that engage youth in designing, inventing and creating with technology. LTC staff are expert in creating, testing, refining and teaching fun learning experiences that help young participants become first familiar and eventually fluent with information and design technologies that require and promote creative thinking and problem-solving skills. We started prototyping Scratch in 2006 in partnership with the MIT Media Lab. We continue to use Scratch with classroom teachers, informal educators, and youth through classes, workshops, and drop-in sessions.
